A common behavior within all human relationships is that we tell ourselves stories about people and situations.
While holiness is not optional for the Christian, you and I can’t make ourselves holy. Rather, God makes us holy. Or, as Paul says in Philippians 2:13: “It is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.”
Let’s briefly think about how God’s love works in our lives, our community, and beyond. I like to think about God’s love as “down, up, in, out” (this sounds like the moves to a dance you might do at a wedding). Let's look at each.
